I’m about to (finally) hit level 80 on my main character and I’m starting to think about what armor I want to give her.

I really like the Priory coat (medium) but she’s Order of Whispers.

So before I get too attached to it, and especially before I go spending money can I just check whether the transmutation trick still works?

If I buy the coat on another character and transmute it to a white or blue item will it make it account bound and let me transfer it to the character I want and transmute it to get the right stats?

Just transmuted 2 Vigil boots for my OoW ranger yesterday. So yes, the method still works.
