So, I’m not quite sure why but in some areas especially near the level 40 dungeons there are way more people in overflow than there are in the normal server. For this reason, it’s more efficient to look for a party when you’re in overflow.

I have two questions:
1) Why are there more people in overflow in the dungeons?

2) Is there a way to manually get to overflow? Since this allows you to play with overflow players from other servers I find this to be a great tip to learn.

To get to Overflow I just leave zone and re-enter. Usually does the trick.

There are generally going to be more people in those areas because most people are right around that level range and want to check out dungeons. Anet has said they expected this and we should expect to see less overflow as the character levels even out a bit.

Number 1 is a very good question. I wondered this myself. Maybe it’s because a whole bunch of players on the regular servers can do WvWvW at that time, while the overflow-ers can’t.
