Hi, i noticed that when I travel to Lion’s arch and end up on overflow there are actually more people there than in normal.
For instance in overflow there are a lot of players using Mystic forge but when i get into normal zone there are just few.
So my question: Are there actually more people in overflow and if yes why do they prefer to stay there?
I’m on Underworld server.

likely connected to fractals, for a group to join fractals they have to be in the same of LA, and if they come from multiple servers (which is the case 90% of the times, as most use gw2lfg.com for finding groups for it), they cant join up in a real servers LA, and thus is forced to be in an overflow

lots of reasons. Fractals is one of them. The other is pure lazyness. overflow la has the same services to offer as regular la. The main reasons for me being in la are:
- fractals, lfg works better in overflow
- using mf, bank, ah, craftingstations, etc, so im not interacting with others, and going to my server’s lion’s arch means a loading screen so i normally just click leave queu.
- Im wating for a friend. if I leave overflow my friend will go there and i have to join in with my friend to get together. by leaving queu I can avoid two loading screens (maybe one if the friend goes into a different overflow, but that is not very often)
