Out of all the countless posts out there, I’d just like to make another to help each other out.

Just a precaution to everyone new or old … beware of people who you LFG with in Arah, either you know them well or don’t pick up a random group using LFG. People with 25k AP can easily just be a scammer too. They group with you till they don’t need you, then they work together and kick you out.

A guildie worked hard for P3 with them but near the end those two kicked him.
This is a common occurence in LFG, but it shouldn’t be!

Always FRIEND everyone as you enter the dungeon at the start, then you can whisper back when they kick you. If they block you, fret not, report them. Let Anet handle it.

I would stay away from these two people when doing Arah with. This is just a PSA to the people/new people who come and join and try the new LFG tool and at the end resulting in an anonymous kick because other players wanted an economic benefit out of you.

Yes, it’s confirmed since I tried to join that LFG but was instantly kicked from party. I can confirm this too so watch out for them.

Yes, which is why I’m editing it out now.

It happened to me before and I tried to coming to forums with this issue before. No one has yet given me a satisfactory answer. Doubt a solution is even thought of atm. Pretty much giving this much power to players far as to kick 3 people at end of the path with 2 just votes is a real bad advantage that is given to the scam-like people. In a way it destroys trust in the community.

Don’t forget to steal the scammers’ instances back, for education sake.

Nope, they still have a horrible grouping system that allows griefing so freely that it almost seems as if they encourage it.

You don’t need to Friend them so you can whisper them back, and if they really kick you i suspect it won’t help in anyway whispering them, you will want to go directly for the report option. Certainly an issue, for those of you who run dungeons often i really advice either joining a huge guild where you could easily find people up for it (being guildies, less likely to happen) or a dungeon specific guild. Doing with ‘friends’ surely solves the problem, but not everyone has such an option. They shoulda at least increase the votes needed for a kick to 3 at least, this kind of scenario would happen less often, it would be a start.
