PVE Player Tips for getting 100% World and WvW JP
Thanks for the info—No interest in PvP at all—and being forced to play a way that one doesn’t care too has been covered in many threads. It still doesn’t make me less disappointed (not angry, just disappointed in the poor implementation of this feature, imho). Maybe ‘legit’ PvP players will start to put some pressure on the devs to change this requirement as more and more PvE join just to attempt to complete this goal and have a negative impact on the PvPs ability to join. As you said PvPs will have to “deal with it”
The botting warning from invalid is also a good heads up. Thanks for that.
Perhaps just forgetting about this achievement would be the way to go for me
I wouldn’t just forget about it. I hate pvp with a passion and I’d love for them to take this part off world completion but it’s possible to do with the tips above. I’m gonna hold out and wait til the end before I attempt this in hopes they’ll change it though :P
The least frustrating thing to do is wait for a week where your realm is completely dominating . If your realm sucks at PVP or always seems to be evenly matched, find a realm that’s dominating their match up and temporarily transfer there. I finished one of the maps without even seeing an enemy player, and even though I’m not very skilled at PVP I only got killed a total of two or three times over all four maps.
Yes, the waiting isn’t much fun, especially if you have to transfer, but for someone who dislikes PVP it ended up being a much better option than doing it with a ton of hostile players around.

Hah, this reminds me of me trying to get my last vista. Never thought about removing armour though to delay the inevitable, then costing me a load to repair.
Basically it went like this:
- Sneak near to enemy camp, get spotted by zerg, die in seconds.
- Sneak closer, take down 2 enemy NPCs with some difficulty, get closer to point, meet zerg, die.
- Sneak in, and… noone. No enemies other than 2 red residents. Ironically, there was a red Charr on the roof where I needed to be… but as it moved to engage, it fell off and I got the vista!
So do not assume that because you met opp in a location one time, it will be there next time round. Occasionally you will take them by surprise and get a clear run.
I suggest changing to a server that is dominating if you’re in a rush and then get hem on all characters.
I disagree about getting the easy ones first unless those are all you can get. If you have the chance to get one that is deep in enemy territory then do it. This is definitely true if your team holds claim. You may not get another chance for awhile.
