Hi, I start to play again gw2 recently and now i cant decide between rev and thief in the pve content.
Can you help me? Who is the best in PVE?

Thief is fun, deal more dps and run faster than rev but heavily rely on dodge, squishy, one mistake can be fatal required skill to play, low hp pool, medium armor but you will have fun if you prefer more challenging gameplay.

Rev is buggy atm but playable and strong, deal less dps than thief but have a lot of survivability, good hp pool, heavy armor, elite specs glint give many useful buff included perma swiftness, easy mode gameplay.

Ascended medium armor cost more gold to make than heavy armor.

So generally : Rev.

Thief is amazing, but like Eros said, you need to master dodging for it to be super effective.

Rev, on the other hand, is more forgiving but isn’t that good until you get the elite spec
