Amazing game overall. From the perspective of a previous hardcore DAoC player this game capitalizes on what a good MMO should be. Anyone can hop in and do what they want from PvE with ALMOST ZERO grind to sPvP with 100% equal footing. These concepts insure GW2 will stay alive and well for many years to come as well as gain a stronger more dedicated playerbase.

Now from my PvP perspective you kill players, you get rewards. Well here it’s all cosmetic. No attribute upgrades and no insta-death spams. This concept is both new and embraced by many including myself but I want more aspects.

Now I don’t want new abilities or more powerful equipment. My idea more or less revolves around enhancing your PvE experience from sPvP. Now of course if it affects your PvE it’ll change your WvWvW as well but here are some ideas that I personally think will benefit even the most casual players.

CONCEPTS

1 – Basic PvE XP rewards from sPvP participation.

2 – Basic PvE Gear from sPvP participation

3 – Titles from sPvP / WvWvW

JUSTIFICATION

1 – Ok so this is a big one. It’s been discussed before but let’s think about it. Being a casual player myself I love how this game “cares about my time” more then any other MMO I’ve ever played. I love to PvP. Competition is why I play video games. Now I get burnt out from enough sPvP and I want to PvE but realize I’m going to have to go back and do lower level hearts or attack deposits. I think a slight +EXP from sPvP would help dramatically considering how long it takes to get into WvWvW. I personally like to feel that my character is growning in all aspects. Not a huge +EXP gain is needed and obviously not as much as in WvWvW which still is not that much but IMO something is needed.

2 – This is a tough concept. My idea is to create gear from weapons/armor to sigils and enhancements that can be purchased for PvE from sPvP. The items can be basic/green but not better then crafted masterpieces. Non-tradeable. Non-sellable. Higher level items obviously will take longer to get and the items cut off at level 75.

3 – This comes with any good PvP combat game. DAoC has it. SC2 has it. It’s something unavoidably necessarily in this game. Not a huge deal but something that motivates me.

These are just BASIC BASELINE CONCEPTS. Please offer opinions. Support if you like, discuss if you’re opposed :)
