yeah try it, if it is already taken it wont let you.

This thread is the number one example of lack of paying attention and research. After all when you open the Trading post the first thing that pops up is NEW Name change contracts

If you read my post you would notice that the operative phrase is “prior to purchasing”. This would be to determine, if one had a specific name of interest, whether the Name Change Contract should be purchased at all.

This was in response to the OP not doing any research and asking for something that have been in the game for 3 days now. And also on the patch notes. And was not meant to be intended for you so I apologize, I should have wrote that better.

Also I was just waking up so I apologize again, would be nice if they had this but they don’t, although what you can do is make a new character and try the name then delete him and do the name change.
