I’m thinking about collecting some MF gear and doing some hunting, but I’m concerned how MF affects my pets, namely my Engi’s turrets.

I’m hoping if I get credit for the kill that will be enough for my MF to affect it. But when it comes to pets in MMOs you never know.

Has there been any confirmation about this?

As long as you get credits for the kill, you get chances to loot (except for yellow targets). When you have chances to loot, MagicFind will be applied.

It’s not like the pet will get its own loot.

You get the reward for the kill and also the drops

Ok, I’m looking at weapons and Iv noticed that one handed and two handed weapons have the same magic find. Does that mean having a main hand and an off hand weapon is better than a two handed weapon?

Keep in mind that gearing with magic find makes you less effective in fighting. if you change tactics, go more defensive build (wich is often the case with mh/oh sets) and put away more stats, your having better loot, but you get loot slower wich can result in countereffecting what you want.

Also keep in mind that magic find gives you better quality loot, if you actually want to farm white and gray items you are better off using a normal set.
