Guild Wars 2

I have already gotten a level 80 ranger and I enjoyed it and got a lot of gold from playing but I really dislike the class I feel as if it’s not the class for me. I am a huge WvWvW player and I want a class that can hold its own in a 1v2 or at least 1v1 and I can’t seem to do this with the ranger. Any suggestions as to what class I should pick?

I’m afraid you’re going to get one of those irritating, and generic answers from me. But it really does depend on how you play the class. I think ANet has done a really good job in balancing them (by and large – engineer still need some scrubbing up…).

If you spec, and play the character well (which means adapting your play style/tactics for every character or opponent you come up against) then I believe it is genuinely a case of skill vs. skill.

Try other classes and take them to Heart of the Mists and test them. Choose the one you like there since you can explore with the full potential unlocked.
