I been level 80 Mesmer for a while now , finally got all my gear exotic , well a part from the back slot which I’m still using from the story quest reward. but anyway , what I want to ask is .

1: Is crafting worth it? I’m thinking of getting my tailoring and jewel to 400, but now that I already fully exotic gear , does crafting help make money ?

2: I got like 65 skill point , what i am suppose to do with it? I hear there a place I can buy item by using my skill point. but searching online. nothing is telling me where the location the NPC at .

3: Anyone able to confirm is exotic gear does drop from random mobs ? or chest from instance? I got a full set of magic find gear..but I just don’t find it much help.

4: Mystic forge.. has anyone got a exotic item from using 4 rare ? or using 4 master item and got a rare item ? or maybe i’m curse and not having much luck.

Its Miyani in Lion’s Arch, by the mystic forge. She doesn’t show as a merchant for some reason.

I would say do jewelry and cooking that way since you already have your exotic armor you can make your jewelry and food for buffs

Your skill points are used for epic and mystic forge combos as above the girl is in Lion’s Arch

I have not had an exotic drop from anything other then a chest. I won’t say it isnt possible, I just havent seen it. Magic find imo isnt worth it at all. With a food buff you’re fine. I saw absolutely no difference in having 25% and having over 100%. I would up salving all that magic find armor I made

Mystic forge 4 exotic will net an exotic and a chance at the legendary piece. 4 Yellow can yield an exotic and a small chance at the legendary piece. Just be sure you try to make combines for what you want ie 4 staffs for a staff etc

1) You can make coin with tailoring by selling those armour sets that people consider to look cool, but you’d get more coin and more personal use out Jewelry.
3) The only Exotic gear so far I’ve gotten that was not from map completion was from high level Meta Bosses (Claw of Jormag, Mega Destroyer etc.) In other words, from chests. The highest drops I get from random mobs is Rare.
Magic Find is more useful for crafting materials. High level essences, gemstones from mining etc.

This question is for Mangarrage , so what you’re saying is , 4 master item ( green ) , can turn in to a rare item , and 4 rare have a chance to give u a exotic gear, but the chance of 4 exotic gear give you a legendary weapon..is that really true? because up til now. i not see anyone at my server got a legendary weapon.

Thanks Ten , I guess I better start farming Arah again if i want to have a chance to loot some exotic gear and make some gold. tbh , i do find farming arah make me rich , sell any grey or blue to NPC and the green keep it to use for mystic forge I guess. the exotic gear you was able to loot , was it lv 80 ? or just some random 76-78 ?
