Warning, this will probably come across as a real noob question but I need some help.

So I created a guild a few months back with 2 friends but unfortunately I’m the only one still playing.

I’ve only just hit lvl 80 and started working on my karma gear and have been reading up on how to get as much as possible out of my karma jugs.

I read about the 5% and 10% guild bonuses you can activate and realised my guild just had enough points to enable them.

I’ve queued the first required levels of Economy and Politics. I’m guessing these will two are a one time purchase?

So my real question is, the +15% Karma for 24 hrs and +5% Karma Banner are they something you activate once they’ve been built or do they activate as soon as the build time is up?

Reason I’m asking is I just want to pop all my karma jugs so I can get my gear then hopefully join an active guild.

they go to a upgrade holding spot in the guild tab they will not become avbile unless you activate them. and what you can also do is this
karma banner, karma boost token, guild karma boost to help with your jugs.

one small tip: if you place the karma banner place it where alot of people walk past. its your guilds banner but everyone can use it to get the bonus^^ so lill help for the whole community.

If you are looking to maximize karma gain, there are two additional items you may want to consider in addition to the two guild boosts. There is also a karma booster (50%) item you can obtain from the gem store. In addition, there are ice cream consumable items that can be crafted for an additional 5% karma.

All the listed boosts do affect jugs. The only karma boost that does not is the WvW Outmanned buff.

I believe there is a cap on how much extra karma % you can get on the jugs but I might be remembering incorrectly from when I read it a few months ago. Can anyone confirm/deny this?

There is a cap of 90% for now i think:
50% from booster
5% from banner
15% from guild bonus
5% from ice-cream
and propably 15% from laurels infusion.

So 90% is max for now, i don’t think there is any upper limit hardcoded anywhere.
