Popular Europe pve servers?
I’m not sure on what times you are playing, but Gandara and Desolation are both very active servers.
This morning round 10 ’o clock European time I was playing in Queensdale Gandara and still met bout 10-20 people.
In the evening you easily get 20-30 people to kill e.g. the troll.
Arise, opressed of Tyria!
I played from 8 am europian time till now, and i’ve seen like 2-5 people and only in queensdale. What about other areas? Are there other areas who are active?
when you mean other areas, you exclude the popular ones right?
I mean, what’s popular except cities and queensdale? :P
Desolation is certainly active in pve, unless you play at very late night or super early in the morning, when most of our players sleep.
But could you be more specific what kind of pve activities you enjoy?
There are constantly people looking for dungeon groups here at Desolation, but the open world pve, besides the events, is not that popular due lower rewards. Surely you will find a lot people at Queensdale, but you might still be quite alone if you go to level 55-70 area. Most players like to farm either world events, dungeons or max level areas for better rewards.
I am not 100% sure, but we are probably the biggest English language pve and pvp server in EU. Sadly our WvWvW coverage isn’t that good.

I’m on Desolation and I’m seeing people all over the map.
Just this evening I’ve been in Queensdale, Divinities Reach, Lions Arch, Gendarran Field, Kessex Hills, Caledon Forest and the Grove and I’ve seen players in all of them. Sometimes some of the less popular maps, like Harathi Hinterlands are a bit quiet but there’s always at least a few other people.
But the thing is most people on Desolation are UK or Western Europe players and online in the evenings and weekends. Mornings and during the day it is noticeably quieter, although I’d still say it’s rare to find a map where I can’t find anyone else online.
“Life’s a journey, not a destination.”
I play in fissure of woe and I usually only come across like 10 or less people while out in queensdale area etc lol
I chose this server because I thought I’d have connection problems elsewhere? I dont know if this would be the case in a more populated server?
I’m on elona’s reach and you usually see hardly anyone out in areas where there’s nothing special. Most people are at world bosses, in orr, at dungeon entrances, etc.
Unlike in Lion’s Arch. On this server it’s impossible not to find a player on lions arch (unlike on Vabbi lol, you do several people on Vabbi too but you can’t compare it to elona’s reach)
However it often happens that I stumble upon several players on my journey through areas. The amount of people I see lies between 5-60. May be more or less dunno.
I didn’t really understand the server difference before, never really played any mmos like wow etc, think I made a mistake choosing fissure of woe, it sounds cool but is quite lonely :p lol

The problem is that switching to higher populated servers is more expensive than switching to lower.
However there are a few guilds on servers that actually farm the money for other people to switch.

tbh its not the most terrible thing to happen, I just wish I knew earlier (only had the game a few weeks lol) luckily my most recent character is a guardian and seems to survive quite well on his own, though I’d like to do dungeons etc in future xD
A few guilds added me recently but i havent accepted yet, been too busy foaming at the mouth over how much more fun the game is than gw1 lol though I severly miss my dervish :/
