Here are some helpful hints for getting a good response for any questions or problems you are having:
1) Try and explain the question/problem as clearly as possible. Keep it clean and friendly, people are here to help you; so please don’t rant at them!
2) Check if anyone else has already made a thread. A quick search might give you an answer, and saves clogging up the forum!
3) If you’re posting advice to someone, don’t be abusive or condescending. Everyone is new here, so don’t assume everyone knows the same as you do. Be polite and constructive!
4) Don’t post off-topic threads. Whilst Anet have yet to get all their forums up and running, try and refrain from posting suggestion or discussion topics. Save them on your computer, and wait until the discussion forums are up. Alternatively head over to www.reddit.com/r/guildwars2 and join the discussion there.
5) Say thank you! If someone’s taken the time to respond to a question, or has given your advice, show your appreciation. It only takes a couple of seconds and it will encourage them to post more in the future. Plus you might make someones day
