I would also like to know why we lose stacks when we move to different areas.
What I miss most about old LA (pre-destruction) was
killing people with a portal from the top of the bank.
I doubt this is a bug — you’ll probably have more impact if you create a new post in the suggestion forum.
Most effects disappear when zoning. The exceptions are bonuses for nourishments: food + oil/stones/crystals.
I would imagine the reason all other effects disappear on zoning is it would be too easy to exploit them: enter queensdale and kill 25 foes for max stacks → zone to Fireheart Rise → enter CoF → swap weapons and you’d enjoy risk free extra stats. This reasoning would also apply to environmental weapons/effects.
I’m not sure why this is also true for temporary transformations (like the potion of ascalonian mages), but that’s consistent across the board with all tonics and the like. Even miniatures have to be respawned when you zone.
