Potions

This page is a general overview of the different types available. The pages on food, potions, sharpening stones etc. have lists of all the different ones, what they do and where to get them.

I appreciate the link, I had already found that page and the problem is I don’t know what some bosses are considered for example the fire elementalist.. Is it a “elemental” in which the elemental potion would be good.. or what about Mai trin, or the ascolon boss etc…
things like that…
Just wondering if theres a more detailed list out there..
but again, thank you for the reply : )
If you go to the specific potions, you can get a full list of enemies that fall in that category. For the Fire Elemental, that counts as an Elemental (the meta event in Metrica). There’s only one human slaying tonic, so you could try that for any human bosses, but they might not fit under that category (outlaw slaying)
Dredge potion – Dredge fractal, SEp2, SEp3, Commissar
Inquest potion – CoEp1,2,3 golems, SEp1, Uncategorised fractal, Golem Mark II
Outlaw potion – CMp1,2,3, Colossus fractal, Mossman, Taidha Covington
Svanir potion – HoTWp1,2,3, Snowblind fractal boss, Frozen Maw
Krait potion – Underwater fractal
Grawl potion – Grawl fractal
Flame legion potion – CoFp1,2,3, Fire Shaman
Nightmare court potion – TAFF/UU, Bloomhunger, Jungle Wurm
Elemental potion – Snowblind fractal, Dredge fractal boss, Grawl fractal boss, Fire Elemental
Undead potion – Arahp1,2,3, CoEp1,2,3 Subject Alpha/Risen, All Priests/Priestesses, Shadow Behemoth
Centaur potion – Modnir Ulgoth
Ogre potion – Foulbear Chieftain
Destroyer potion – Megadestroyer
However, also note that all higher level potions are bugged in that they don’t reduce damage; rather, they increase damage you take, though they also increase the damage you give.
Lastly, a notable, supercheap alternative to sharpening stones/maintenance oils/tuning crystals to take the utility slot is skale venom, which inflicts weakness and vulnerability with a 10% success rate, with no internal cooldown. You can get those through Rexavian Redfoot, Bloodfin Lake, Iron Marches. Given they’re 16 copper each, there’s no excuse to not at least use skale venom on everything.
