Guild Wars 2

I just came back after a long break and was wondering if changing the sigil on a precursor destroys the precursor making it not usable in the forge. I remember awhile back that people were complaining that they couldn’t use their precursor after changing the sigil that came in the weapon. is this still the case?

Well my copy of The Lover has a minor sigil of Peril and according the Wiki and the TP it comes with a Superior Sigil of Rage.

I think it’s unlikely I would have over-written a superior sigil with a minor one, so maybe it came with that and Anet updated it at some point in the past, but I’m not entirely sure.

Either way I can put it into the Mystic Forge along with the Gift of Mastery and Gift of the Dreamer. I don’t have the Gift of Fortune yet, but with other Forge recipes it wouldn’t even let me get this far if it wouldn’t work.

I guess anet finally let people put different sigils in pre cursors and still use them for legs.
