Is there anyway of increase the chance of getting spark from mf, someone said Putting the same sigil increases chance but i want to hear your stories!

Having high MF is one way of finding a Precursor, but a majority of them are acquired through the Mystic Forge.

“The output will be as specific as the input is. For example, if only weapons are used as the input, the output is guaranteed to be a weapon. Likewise, if only medium helmets are used, the output is guaranteed to be a medium helmet.”

No idea what the person means by using the same sigil, but if you Mystic Forge 4x Daggers the output is guaranteed to be a Dagger as well. The chances are even higher if you use all Exotics rather than rares. Supposedly theres a “20% chance of returning upgrades of the next higher tier” which from experience feels more like 5-10%.

If you want spark only, forge nothing but daggers. As far as increasing a chance using same set of 4 daggers I don’t know of any. Exotics have a better chance at returning Spark compared to using 4 rares. If you’re going to blow a bunch of money on daggers for the forge you should probably just save that gold till you can afford Spark.

Maybe if you use 4 daggers with the same sigil as spark?

Well, i have never gotten to 200g let alone 1200g so that wont be an option forge is the only way for me, i know to only forge daggers. I will just use dungeon exotics with sigil of rage

If you think about it it might work since it gives you back a betetr chance at something having the same sigil

Well using the same weapon type can improve the chance there you go one way. Using exotics is another. This is exactly the same thought process and logically should lead to a higher chance.
