Is there no point in having precision on something like a weapon, if your critical damage is 0%?

It’s still worth it to take a item that gives precision even with low to no crit damage. A default critical hit does 150% base damage iirc so it’s still quite nice to crit. Hopefully that helps

precision without crit dmg is more or less useless unless your are using items or skills/traits that proc on crits

Critical hits are also used for triggering various traits and sigils.
It would be more accurate to say there is no point in having precision if you have nothing in your build that relies on critical hits.
