Profession help
Any profession can really play any role in a battle and all are suitable for solo play. If you’re after something that requires more skill and thinking you may want to give Thief a try, as Thief needs the most attention and thinking when playing. Thief can also play the supportive role though you may not think it will. Ranger is also pretty good for solo play, but is lackluster in supportive ability and can get boring very quickly.
All in all every profession is suitable for any role, so choosing really depends on the one you feel most conferrable with, but if you’re after something that keeps you on edge and active instead of button mashing then I’d say Thief would be perfect for you, as with Thief you really can’t afford to mess up.
Hello Mechanico
If you get on game soon enough, I’ll be able to help you out on choosing classes that just might work for your main.
=) Just whisper me.
You can add me to your friends list since I jump on all 8 classes constantly.
(I’m Never usually on 1 char) lol
Given what you said, I would continue to level both your engineer and your elementalist. You seem to be enjoying them and they meet the requirements you mentioned.
Thanks for the replies guys. As it turns out, thief is pretty fun lol. You are definitely right DancinPuppeh about keeping on your toes though, but it is a blast. I don’t know if it is versatile to be my main though. Engineer is great just because the amount of choices available for someone as indecisive as me, but elementalist has a great ability to have everything you need in a fight always there. Thanks Katz for helping me narrow it down. Kinda want something like the druid in wow, good mix of everything, but not neccesarrily the best at anything.
I am currently working on making a Youtube Video on all 8 Professions in Combat to give players a nice point of view on how each class players.
It’s like going to be a short 6 min.
So once I finish Uploading it, I’ll let you know so you can check it out.
Also all classes are versatile. I have a guide that you can check up on later.
