Q:
PvE Support Profession
I don’t have a ton of experience, but from what I’ve read, I’d choose either Guardian or Elementalist. Elementalist is the most “powerful” support profession, but you’ve got to be on your guard… If you’re dead, you can’t be supporting.
Guardians are much sturdier, and if you build them correctly, they can be wonderful supporters.
Also, take a look at Engineer. Also a little squishy, though not as much as the Ele. They can maintain pretty good condition damage while applying lots of buffs. You can also (I think) go even more “full support” and really rain down condition removal, healing, etc. on your party.

how about Necro? Just rolled one and seems quite fun? I prefer laying on conditions then direct damage as allows me to buff/remove buffs while bleeds/poison etc take effect?
How are they with support?
can see they can do alot of regen?
I don’t know about necro healing/support, but I am sure you’d be able to build something cool. Between wells and marks necros have plenty of opportunities for you to make combos with your allies, too.
A warrior with shout based healing and soldier runes aren’t too shabby. A trait provides healing to all nearby allies when using a shout (so 3 potentially) as well as removing a condition from yourself and allies when wearing 6 runes of the soldier. Whilst I haven’t tried it you can make a condition damage build with bleeding using swords. The warhorn has a skill that turns all conditions into boons for your team.
Also using the longbow and banners you can grant a lengthy 25 stacks of might to yourself and allies.

Water-specced Elementalist is as close as you can come to a true “Healer” in the game, really.
Great support built in, too, with the ability to go Earth Atunement for Cripple and Immobilize.
Do you even lift, bro?
