I’m looking into changing servers. I would like to know if there are any out there that have a very active population and seem to be focused more on PvE and roleplaying stuff rather than WvW?

Among North American servers, Tarnished Coast is the one you want.
High population, unofficial RP server. We are also T2 inWvW, but you don’t care ’bout that, right!

Sorry, should have stated that I’m looking for a North American server.

It just feels like everyone on my server is too concerned about rewards. It’s like they completely ignore the fact that it’s a video “game” and simply relish in this elitist battle for who can achieve the best rewards the fastest. If their focus isn’t rewards then it’s WvW, both of which I’m am not looking for.

Just a crowd of people who enjoy the lore, characters, landscape and the thrill of adventure etc.

In Crystal Desert, I joined an PvE guild. With bonus to XP and Magic Find 24/7. People regularly form dungeon runs, Guild Wars event runs, guild runs etc. We have players from US and Oceanic. If you are interested, whisper ingame and I’ll get an officer to invite you and you can guest on this server.

Yeah I don’t recommend my guild to everyone because frankly, we’re not for everyone. We’re on average a bit older, a bit slower, a bit more leisurely than most guilds. We don’t “run” dungeons we play through them. We take our time with stuff. We get there in the end, but we just have fun doing it.

A lot of people find us too casual for their tastes.

I’d join that, if I can. I’m in Devona’s Rest, can only guest since my families are there (can’t leave them), but I’d like to engage in good fun for PvE too.

My timezone is GMT+7. When it’s 8AM at West Coast, 5 A at East Coast, it’s 7 PM here.

Thanks, Vayne. I think I may be making a hop over to Tarnished Coast from Eredon Terrace in my last effort to maintain interest. PvE on Eredon Terrace is nearly non-existent, and as you may recall, I do not take part in WvW, PvP or dungeons. Some days I can go the entire day playing in almost every zone and barely run into one or two people outside of the Shadow Behemoth farmers in Queensdale as well as Maw.

Add my vote for Tarnished Coast too. We might be a little quiet around your playtimes, but you should still be able to find some great people to explore with.

Nothing wrong with that. Feels like our guild. Few older people, wanting to just enjoy the content, trying to play well together. Learn from each other and just have a good time with some memorable moments. Like being down to the last second when Magg finally blows the doors open. Then laughing about it and at the same time cursing that room.

I’m with OP as well, I’d like to get back into the game and find a server that enjoys doing Dungeons with the occasional jump into WvW.

So Tarnished Coast is the place to be?

if crystal desert send 1% of their pve players to wvw, we would be the top ranking server
