When your Dead and revived do you take damage to armor?

Do you take damage to armor when downed and revived?

You take armor damage only if you have to return to a waypoint.

just to add in here…if you die from falling damage (suicide) whilst not in combat…for example: doing a jumping puzzle, and you have to return to a waypoint….your armour will not get damaged.
