Guild Wars 2

I’ve looked up at the usual build of a healer druid and I found out that it’s usually built magi (healing power + precision + vitality)
Now the question is: since the druid is a great class for condi damage AND being healer i want it to stay alive, wouldn’t make more sense to build it Apothecary’s?
So i will have the same amount of Healing Power but I would have more condi damage and more toughness?
Tell me where I am wrong please (I know I am wrong)

you dont want toughness since that make make you the target instead of the tank
