Queen's Jubilee
It’s only been repeated once, along with the Zephyrites, as a prologue to LS season 2. There’s been no information either way on whether it could repeat in the future. Personally, I’m hanging on to mine in the hope it repeats again, as it’s only taking up one space in my bank.
I’m keeping mine.
However, if you badly need the space and can’t afford to increase your storage, then go ahead and delete yours. Two main reasons:
- If the Jubilee returns, there will be new ways to acquire gauntlet tickets.
- It hasn’t returned in nearly 3 years, so it seems unlikely that it’s not going to return soon™.
And a lesser reason you should delete them:
As soon as you do, the chances that ANet brings it back will go up by 50%. (That is, of course, terrible for you — it’s great for me and Stitch, since we are keeping ours regardless. We thank you for your sacrifice, though
)
Thanks folks. I guess I don’t need the space that bad, it was half a nostalgia question, prompted by seeing the item, and having only been back since December (and absent 15 months before that start after the HoT release), I have forgotten about some things and couldn’t remember if it was recurring or not.
Like learning that the sky ship one wasn’t going to come back any more. I think of all the pre-HoT recurring activities, that was one of my favorites to participate in.
Technically the queens Jubilee hasn’t been repeated, but the Crown Pavilion was re-opened for the Festival of the Four Winds (at the end of Season 1). If it’s anything like real life the queens Jubilee would only be repeated for significant years, at most every 10 years.
But the Pavilion could be opened for other events too. Personally I think they should bring back the Dragon Bash and include the Pavilion in it. Or we could have a storyline about the surviving Zephyrites rebuilding their fleet and the various cities helping them as thanks for their help rebuilding Lion’s Arch (which is what the Festival of the Four Winds was for…as well as setting up for Season 2).
