As long as the stuff is not soulbound to your character, you can transfer it via depositing in your bank and then retrieving it with the other character.

The bankers http://wiki.guildwars2.com/wiki/Banker
Crafting station locations. http://wiki.guildwars2.com/wiki/Crafting_station

Also you can use any crafting station to access your bank.
Soul Bound means only the Player you are on can use the items.
It will say soulbound on the item when you hold the mouse cursor over the item.

Soulbound means it’s something that only that character can use. Account bound items can be used by any of your characters.

Banks are found is several places but the main spots are the big cities and your borderland WvW map. Sometimes they will be on regular maps.

The location of banks are visible on the map with an icon. (Shown below). You can also access your bank at any crafting table, which have their own set of icons. http://wiki.guildwars2.com/wiki/Crafting_station

If you are a new player, the icons may not be showing on your map yet. Ask in map chat where a bank is and have them ping the location in chat. If you click on a ping it will show you where the location is on the map.
