Guild Wars 2

Hi

I’m currently on the server Underwood (Europe), only reason I chose this server back then was to play with friends/guild mates of mine from other games. Sadly all my friends don’t play anymore or any of the guild mates and I’ve lost touch.

I currently have a level 80 Necromancer, I can’t afford the transfer ATM, as I don’t have a job and money Is tight.

If I were to delete my character, could I move to American server and still have my account bound stuff, gold, karma, other currency, Items (In Bank) ETC?

I don’t mind restarting and I want to relearn the game and make new friends ETC.

The only things lost would be the characters and anything bound to them or on them when deleted. Account stuff is safe.

Just make sure anything you want to keep is in the bank: not equipped on your character or in their inventory (and remember inventory bags too!), although soulbound items you won’t be able to keep.

Anything you can’t unequip/store in the bank like currencies in the wallet and skins you’ve got unlocked will be saved automatically.

Edit: I’m not sure what happens to items in a personal guild bank when you delete all your characters, it might mean the guild has no members and is deleted or your account might still be a member. I’d take everything out the guild bank (if you’ve got one) just in case.
