Are the inventory bag space account bound or character bound? Im planning on making a new character and wanted to transfer the bags from one of my lv80 to this one, but since Im at work I cant verify this.

It would really suck if I have to buy those again since I spent a bunch of $$$ to unlock it from my main…

Bags are account bound, but bag slots are character dependent. You can buy new bag slots for 400 gems each or wait for a sale. I think you start with 4 bag slots.

The additional purchasable bag slots are character specific as of this time.

Bags themselves on the other hands can be transferred around (as long as they are empty)

Ouch, thanks for the answer guys, honestly that kinda turned me off from making a new character, but it does makes sense. Afterall, Anet’s gotta eat! ^__^

I was able to give some old 15 slots bads to a guildie. Are you sure that bags are account bound ?

I think they are tradable like any other item.

that depends on how you acquire the bags. some bags that come from special npc’s like the halloween vendor, are account bound. however, you can buy bags off the trading post or if you have the crafting skill, you can make them yourself.
