At personal level 10+ you start to get Pristine Tokens which can be turned in for Ascended Rings.

The number of tokens varies depending on the level you’re doing, however, you can earn the daily reward once per character per day.

The time to do a Fractal run also varies depending on the level you’re running, but also which maps you end up getting, and the group you have. There are 7 maps plus a bonus one that shows up on the even numbered levels. The difficulty increases as you attempt higher levels.

You need 10 pristine relics per ring, or get lucky which means in 20 days you can max your rings theoretically.

Next it takes 7 stacks of normal relics to make an ascended backpiece which is quite a lot.

The time it takes is anywhere between 1 hour for a experienced team and 2+ hours for a team of newbies. Take your time to learn. Fractals is a fun dungeon once you get the hang of it.
