Is there any bug for the achievement as far as we know?

I am stuck at 170/175 and have cross checked the areas I need for the achievement to my map in-game, and it all checks out just fine. I did miss some jumping puzzles, but when I completed them (got the achievement and treasure), I didn’t ‘discover’ them and my counter didn’t go up.

Any suggestions as to what I might be missing? Do I have to further progress through the story or do I have to explore something in CM?

Any help would be appreciated.

Have you done your personal story on Claw Island? I think some areas are discovered there and it is only available through your story.

Dungeons don’t count towards the explorer achievement as they have their own achievement if I’m right. And no it’s not bugged you’re just missing some parts. It’s hard to say what parts you are missing without seeing your map.

How did you do the cross-check? Did you use the areas lists here on the Wiki? It helped me get my explorer achievements.

Sometimes, there are portions of the map that have no POI/wp/etc yet still needs to be walked through to discover. so you may miss a few there.

Thanks for the help, I haven’t done Claw Island in my personal storyline yet, despite that, I’m still missing one more area in my map, I’ll just go over it again.

I suspect the missing area is The Bilge in LA. It seems that I can’t ‘discover’ the area when I approach the sewer. Is there anyway I can check if I already actually discovered the Bilge? For some reason, viewing the different surfaces (ground level, below or above that) of the map is disabled in LA for me.

Though Claw Island is an instance accessibly only through the personal story, exploration of it counts for both the Explorer achievement and world completion.

Just my 2 cents. The area I missed was Momoztli Grounds in Bloodtide coast. Although the wiki is putting the heart for ‘Help the Priory put ghost pirates to rest’ in that area, you can talk to the heartgiver, fill the heart in and get the nearby PoI without discovering the area. You need to move further to the west to get it filled in.

I got the Krytan explorer achievement yesterday, so it shouldn’t be bugged. The places I had missed while exploring were Ourobore caves and Hidden Ourobore located in east side of Harathi Hinterlands and Beggar’s Burrow located at the nothern shore of Lake Delavan in Queensdale. Those are locations without point of interest so you can get the map completion without visiting them but they count for explorer achievement.
