Hi,

I was just wondering are there any issues with Soulbound items? If I recall correctly, there were some small bugs with GW1, where if I change my name from “Character A” to “Character B”, items would still say “Soulbound to Character A”. Are there any issues with this?

I’ve never used one myself but I haven’t heard anyone complain on the forum and I’m sure it would have come up by now if a bug like this was occurring.

I used it on one of my characters at least a month ago, I do play a lot of characters, so I might not have played this one enough to know, but thus far I’ve had no soulbound item issues

Hmm, I haven’t changed any names so I can’t answer if soulbound items glitch. I’ll note that the tooltip never says which character owns the item though, just “soulbound to another character.” This irks me because it gets hard to figure out who owns what’s in there …. anyway, no name needs to be changed, so the question is whether changing your name makes the game think you are “another character?”

Changed the name on my mesmer a while ago and had no problems whatsoever with items being soulbound to “Character a”.
Everything was just like before, only the name was different.

Haven’t heard of anyone else having issues with it either.
