Hi guys, sorry can I ask those who has this item (Prototype fractal capacitor)
a question?

I would like to ask about the artwork.
Basically, i’ve seen some using it.
However, why are some plain;

I mean, is it because the shining one is infused?

Also, I would like to slot in the +5 agony resistance.
However, is this a defensive slot or an offensive one?

—> Prototype Fractal Capacitor; bad stats, exotic

Prototype Fractal Capacitor + Gift of Ascension + Vial + Crystals/ Philosopher stones
—> Prototype Fractal Capacitor (Ascended); Good stats, infusion slot

Prototype Fractal Capacitor (Ascended) + Gift of Ascension + Glob + Ectos
—> Beta Fractal Capacitor (Infused); Good stats, 5 AR, infusion slot

Beta Fractal Capacitor (Infused) + Gift of Ascension + Shard + Ectos
—> Fractal Capacitor (Infused); Good stats, 5 AR, infusion slot, glow

You have to upgrade it. The shining one is the highest level – better stats, infused and has infusion slot

There’s two ascended versions that you can make from the original exotic capacitor. Each one has a different recipe ingredient. One will have a defensive and the other will have offensive infusion slot. From there, the rest of the recipes are the same.

Basically;
it says there are offensive and defensive slot right?
Now, if say I wanted to slot in the one upgrade that gives me +5 AR,
what slot is that? offensive or defensive?

Here’s a list of infusions. It seems like the higher quality infusions have +5 AR and another stat. And they can be found on both offensive and defensive ones. There is an omni infusion that only has +5 AR and can go in either slot. Existing infusions do not carry over to the next level of the item when upgrading so probably best not to put higher level infusions until the end.
