After infusing Dynamic/Static/Synergetic Tempered Spinal Blades does it still offer you to choose stats?

I want to try a bit different spec for my guardian, I just want to know, do I need to make another backpiece, or just infuse my current one to pick another stats combination.

I think so, but only when you change color the one time, after that you’re stuck

Yes, when you change the color you’ll be able to pick a new stat once.

I can confirm what Belzebu said – you definitely can pick new stats after changing the colour. Note that if you will lose the defensive infusion (if you have already put one in) when you upgrade it.
