When a squad is created by a commander, do the players in the squad show up on the map like they would in a party? I haven’t found a yes or no on this.

No, they don’t. Nor can you see the list of names of people who have joined the squad.

Darn, I was hoping this as it would make it easier to locate people.

Guess the commander icon would have to do.

You can see who joined your squad with /squadinfo This will give a list of atleast nearby squad members.
