Guild Wars 2

So, I was looking into unlocking guild missions, but I have one question, is “guild bounties” the only type of missions that doesn’t require guild merit? Im in a guild completely not interested in doing WvWvW, so basically we will have to unlock 5 tiers + the guild bounties (66500 influence)? If the answer is yes this is completely stupid and I already know we will never do that content since I don’t plan spending so much in upgrades we won’t use.

The merits are only neededfor tier 2 of the missions, tier one can be unlocked by researching level 6. Each of four lines (architecture, economy, etc) have now a tier 6. after unlocking that you can build a guildmission (each type has one type of guildmission). To get tier 2 your need merits and more influence.

But you WILL still have to unlock AoW Tier 5, regardless. Enjoy all those utterly useless WvW benefits you now have access to.

1) Yes, Guild Bounties is the only guild mission that doesn’t need Guild Merit

2) You will need Art of War 5 for Guild Bounties so yes you definitely need it.
