Question about pre-ordering

If you buy the editions that come with a slot, you get that slot right away (or at least within a couple of hours). You get the second slot (the “veteran” slot) the Friday after you order.
I believe they hand out the char slots every friday. So in that case it would be the first friday after you pre-ordered.
I got my char slots right after I bought HOT and reloged, however you will have to wait 5 days to lift mail/trading post restrictions.
The Vet slot is awarded on Fridays, the slot you get with Deluxe or Ultimate you get right away.
