Is it fun and powerfull?
- Race is only about looks and don’t alter your gameplay. There is some racial skills, but they are usually bad and almost never used on purpose. Anet don’t want to punish a players for choosing the wrong race.
Most powerful profession will change a lot over time, but here some of the most of powerful profession in each game mode in the moment.
- PvE : Mesmer, Warrior, Elementalist, Revenant and Engineer.
- PvP : Necro, Mesmer, Elementalist, Engineer and Revenant
- WvW : Sorry I kind of stopped to play WvW before HoT so I’m not sure. Before HoT it was Guardian, Warrior, Necromancer, Mesmer and Elementalist. Don’t know what changed since.
Most fun : Can’t answer that. It depend what you find fun. I like Engineer because it’s complexe, but other players dislike it for that very reason.

I’ll try some classes. Should i focus on one or level up some carachers at the same time?

I’d say stick to one. Take your time leveling it up while learning the combat and traits.
Each profession is unique and it depends on how your play style which one that suits you the best.
Some professions (Mesmer+Revenant) I find personally need lots of patience to level it up to 80, but once you’re 80, it’s so rewarding and all the mechanics make sense.
(my main is Mesmer)

For race, it depends on your personal taste. Race choice goes for looks (armors), movement (e.g bigger character might look move slower) and each has their own personal story.

As of now it really depends on what you’re looking for. In my honest opinion, elementalist is fun and all, but they have highly been nerfed, due to this the only good roll they can do better than any other class is a healer. Running a shout tempest heal build they can out heal a druid.
If you’re looking for the highest possible DPS in the game, it is hands down the engi condi build; however, the play-style is very difficult to master for it requires you to learn how to effectively use 30 abilities.
Necromancer is fun for it has a diver range of what you can do. As reaper you can tank, be a minion master, or even build condi. All of the builds are fun in my opinion.
Warrior is a simple, fun, strong, amazing class. A warrior running phalanx strength berserker with berserker stats is nearly a must. The reason for this is because they can build might faster than any other class can. Elementalist used to be good with it, however, as previously stated, ele has been outdated due to other classes which can fill a roll better.

Is it fun and powerfull?
You light things on fire and toss around lightning whips. What’s not to like. Sure you are a glass cannon but it so fun wiping out small groups of critters.
