Guild Wars 2

I’m fairly new to the game and I’m a little confused as to how skills and level scaling for WvW work. My character’s actual level is 6 and when I enter WvW I get scaled up to 80 like I’m supposed to, but I don’t seem to have access to any skills from levels higher than 6. I thought I was supposed to have access to all skills while in WvW, or is it only skills based on my actual level?

i imagine you’re thinking of spvp where you’re actually level 80 with all ability’s, wvw is different than that and you’re just scaled up (stats wise) to 80, you’re still just a level 6 in terms of ability and armor
