I purchased a skin from the gem store, and am wondering if now I have to purchase transmutation charges in order to actually use the skin on my gear? From what I’ve tried it’s making me use transmutation charges, but just wanted to see if that’s normal after purchasing a skin from the gem store. Thank you!
Note that you get transmutation charges just from playing the game. Also note that a new character will constantly be replacing their weapons as they level up, so it may be best not to pay for transmutations until you get something you’ll keep for a while.
Make sure you’re double clicking the skin, and not applying the look from your wardrobe panel. Even if you have an unused skin, it will not apply it for free unless you click on the skin itself.
