Does the Digital Deluxe version of gw2 automatically give you the extra feature when you play or do I have to enter in code somewhere?
I was thinking about gw2 for friend but keeping Mistfire Wolf elite skill to place on an account that I already own. Is this possible?

Think it’s tied to the account. Best to wait for a seconder though.

You can’t split the upgrade.

It is automatic, when you create a toon you’ll get the item by mail.

The actual items (like the mini Rytlock and the gem store armor sets) are mailed to you in the game, but they’re account bound so you can’t give them to anyone else.

The mistfire wolf is a skill so it just appears on your skills list. It’s already unlocked so it doesn’t cost any skill points, but otherwise it’s just like any other elite.
