Guild Wars 2

Returning to GW2 after 3 years. I have the glider, but cannot use it. Please confirm that I will not be able to until I reach level 80? Also, once one character on account reaches 80 and has the skill to use it, is it unlocked for all other characters, regardless of level?

You can’t glide until you unlock Masteries (and specifically unlock the Gliding Mastery), and you can only unlock Masteries once you’ve hit level 80 and start the Heart of Thorns personal story. And yes, Mastery unlocks are account bound; so after you unlock the Mastery on your first character, your other characters will be able to glide (at any level).
