I know that the general rule on macros is 1 click equals 1 action, but does making a macro to hold the right mouse button for a set amount of time count as one action, or as multiple?

I’m thinking it’s one action since it’s basically like a button press, except that it’s held down longer, but would this be allowed?

I don’t know how Anet could even attempt to reliably police macro-use.

Anyway, the spirit in which you need to play the game, is one without the intent to maliciously cheat. Would the use of your macro give you an indisputable unfair advantage in a competitive player vs player scenario?

Ah, forgot to mention that it’s intended for pve usage, I’ve basically changed some of my mouse settings around so that the right mouse button is dodge, and the left button is the auto-attack. This means that since the right-mouse button is unavailable I was planning on using a key to hold it down for me, so that I don’t lose the ability to turn the camera.

I reckon it would be horrible in pvp as it will make me unable to cast skills behind me without twisting the camera around, and instead put me at a disadvantage in that case.
