Questions About Guild Wars Platinum Edition
Does it include all expansions?
No, only GW: Prophecies and GW: Eye of the North.
Factions and Nightfall aren’t included.
Also do people still play guild wars 1?
Yes, more than you can expect.
Is It possible to solo the game and beat it?
Totally, specially if you get the Nightfall campaign, the henchman and hero system makes you able to solo everything.
How long does It take to get the rewards for guild wars 2?
You mean all the rewards or any reward?
The 30/50 HoM points takes quite a while to get if you are starting from zero, I took about 350 hours.
(and the other 8 elite specs maxed too)
Thanks for the help, another question can I buy nightfall and factions off steam and added them to the Guild Wars® Platinum Edition account or am I better of buying trilogy and later on buying eotn off the website?
The cheapest option back when I set up my second account (with EOTN for HOM points) was to buy the Trilogy and the Platinum Edition. But yes, you could simply buy the Platinum Edition now and then later add Factions and/or Nightfall to your account; you add other campaigns by going to the game loading screen and choosing Manage Keys > Add Key, where you’ll put in the game key number.
Thanks again, I went and bought the platinum edition. It said I would get bonus items, weapons and a fire imp. I typed I /bonus and only got the imp, didn’t get the weapons.
Also Is anyone willing to help me in guild wars 1, I don’t have nightfall or factions yet and not sure when I pick them up. So I can’t have any hero’s ETC.
Start playing prophecies, when you reach Lion’s Arch you can start the EotN, start it and you’ll get some heroes very soon, then go back to LA and keep playing normally.

Thanks for the tip. Last question since I bought the platinum edition, can I buy trilogy later and use it as an upgrade?
Is it worth to buy the upgrade game of the year edition for the bonus weapons or no?

Yes, you can use the trilogy. It’ll just ignore the double Prophecies and will simply add Factions and Nightfall to your account.
As for the bonus weapons, they can be useful for giving your heroes and yourself better starting weapons. And the imp summoning stone is very nice. Getting the game of the year edition was worth it, to me.
