Guild Wars 2

Hello,

I am new to the Guild Wars universe so please forgive me if this is a noobish question.

As I was playing through my story, I chose the Durmond Priory because I thought it would be neat for my character to be involved with a learning/scientific faction. However, when I made that choice, I didn’t realize that there were gear rewards associated with each faction, and now the rewards for which I will have access are less than optimal for my character.

What happens now? Is this going to be a problem for my character at level 80 or otherwise in the future? Is there a way for me to replay old story quests so that I can choose differently? Does ArenaNet want us to choose this based on roleplay or rewards, and if the rewards are irrelevant, why are they there? Is this something that is going to require a reroll?

The only differences between the order armor sets are cosmetic.
