SO I’m trying to test my crystals with the jade maw lens. Do I take it to the hero point in the metal forest in Malchor’s Leap or do I do something else.? I’m asking because I’m not sure if I’m just doing it wrong or that I should file a bug report because I took everything to the hero point and nothing happened.

You have to go to the hero point in the metal forest and interact with it for all the cristals. Don’t forget to have them in your inventory (it says what type of cristal you have to bring in the collection window)
You don’t nedd Jade Maw lens for this part, Jade Maw is just used to capture the lights of different creatures

Okay then there’s a bug and I need to report it since it wont acknowledge that I have the items.

According to the Wiki you need to make sure you don’t have any Quartz Crystals (the uncharged version) in your inventory, or the option to charge them overrules the collection option.

I’ve had similar problems back when I did this.

From what I can tell, the testing property of the HP is tied to the event that runs in this area. I found it working immediately after the event succesfully finished.

When it’s open you will have a long list of options on interacting with the point. Having 25 Quartz on you just adds another line. (at least it should)
