Even though i played for 4 months or so, i still don’t know.

Why do 80 level players(some even have world completion medals) do random events on low level locations(like defend village from monsters, escort random npc and others)?

Probably for map completion, they rush to get lvl 80 and after that they go back to low level maps to complete it.

but some already have this medal for completing all map, why do they do events for then?

Umm … then depends of the event.
It may be a pre-event that chain into a World Boss.
Could be part of the Living Story, there are a couple steps that require you to complete open world events.
Also can be people bored before a guild event and they just do random events near it.

You see them in specific maps, or just everywhere?

probably over level 80’s doing the PVE daily events that they need to do, which most of the time are completed in low level area maps

I do them when I see them up because I find them fun.

I sometimes like hanging around the lower-level areas, and participating in any events that crop up. Sometimes because I’m in the mood for just bumming about with my brain in low-power mode, or sometimes as I like helping lower levels who may (or may not be) experiencing all this for the first time.

I do them for fun sometimes. Or if I’m playing with a buddy that is working on map completion or leveling.
