K got my 80 warrior twilight, i now have all ascended so far……now i want a 80 ranger……im level 33:( how do i solo these events? theres nobody friggin around, i tried asking in /map and all i got were crickets……Dont really like WvW atm because by the time i see anybody im dead already, and crafting is to expensive. How do i level up?

100% all the level 1 zones to get a good head start. Then from there you will have the levels to clear level 15 zones without too much work.

K not sure what you are trying to compromise in the post. Do you just want people to know that you got a legendary. Because if you did, you should know the basic, and fastest way to level up by now.

I think running dungeons is a pretty fast way to get exp. Mix in your story missions.

no i said that because, i wanted people to know im done with warrior untill more content comes out(so people that say your not done with warrior do you have legendary yet?), no need to brag with legendary’s as alot of people have them now.

Which in my case, isnt in anyway quick because, hearts dont level you up. You will be behind massively if you do just hearts, and events are out of the question because theres nobody around to do them. So from what everybody is saying so far is rolling an alt is only for people who can afford to buy there way up using crafting, and who like WvW.

Yeah they do. You get exp for completing them.

Zone population seems to vary day to day on my server. If you’re finding too few people in one zone you could try moving to another for the same level bracket, or even one lower. I’m not sure why the focus on speed, but MMOs are not static. Your experience is going to be different as time goes on, for a lot of reasons.

I play a ranger and find that my pet allows me to do things I might not get away with when playing my ele or mesmer. One other thought — levelling a little slower isn’t such a terrible thing. I know you have 100% completion on your warrior, but that doesn’t mean you’ve seen it all. You will get leveled, one way or another, just maybe not at record speeds.

I am going to do this myself eventually. Find a friend or two to play with. I think 3 people can tackle most events (that do not involve a champion, even then it might be possible with some). Identify which maps have popular event chains that a lot of players participate in. The Harathi Hinterlands which is a level 35-45 area has a really popular Meta Event called Assault on Thunder Rock. Because you are level 33 you should be able to do this pretty soon.

I’ll just throw out there that doing dynamic events is slow and you’ll likely spend a lot of coins porting to each one.

I found completing maps and doing the daily leveled me pretty quickly. I only did the DE’s for the daily or if they happened to be where I was doing the stuff for map completion.

You have a legendary and think crafting is "too expensive"?
Note that I am not knocking the legendary, but there’s plenty of expense involved in crafting one. The money/materials/time needed for leveling crafting professions is really miniscule in comparison.

In any case, if there aren’t many people around and you feel that a DE is too much to solo, there’s nothing wrong with moving on and just completing the rest of the map / other DEs. It’s not like the NPCs will permanently die or forever lose ground to the enemies, and you can always do them another time.

Imo, if you want to make money and level up. Do ac exp. Each path is at most 30 min can be as fast as 10-15min and it gives you pretty much a level per path.

Rinse & repeat and level up. The best thing about this is in fact (if you don’t start the dungeon yourself) you can do it with your lvl80 warrior and switch before the final boss or something so it’s faster and more efficient. My friend got 4lvl 80s by doing this method, takes literally less than a week.

Edit: It’s not only a good way to level, it has so many bonuses along the way, which include $$, rares, karma, and tokens (for exotics). So while you find yourself needing money for armor at lvl80 you can have a AC Monk set as a temp or you could buy exotics and salvage them for ectos to get about 30s per ecto.
