Well he is idea i had but i dunno how would it be possible to make it work.
So, i was reading so many topics on how to get legendary and how some ppl having loads of bad luck trying it and so on.
Im not really into that but in a way i would love to try at least help when i can some of legit players to get a chance for it.
My idea would go like this:
We would make a topic where ppl could ask (and not beg) for support for his legendary.
To apply, for it we could ask like , screen with lets say 100k done , or map 100% (im not sure what else is needed ).
Then at some time in month we could do a lottery of some kind and give some mats/money support to one of them.

I know this will prolly stay only words on some forum but, image if we could help one person feel happy for a day , to me at least, this would be great thing.

I know this idea have tons of flaws , but i guess im asking you, would you do it if you would you make some unknown person happy if you could and and a way ?

not really being too interested in legendaries myself (which makes me a strange breed I guess seeing some of the posts) I would gladly help someone else get one if that was their goal.

however this is where I see a problem. you help someone complete their long-term goal and then what do they do? (because apparently end game has nothing much more than grinding for legendaries)

Honestly, after reading topic of some guy here, i came to think of this. So even if this would make someone happy for one day , its worth it. And after all its not like this would solve all his “problems”. There would be tons to do, karma, map, and days of looking at his new item thing ^.^.

I agree it is worth it and would be interested if you ever thought of starting it, otherwise things I have collected are just going to waste sat there in my bank (knowing I’m not going to use them myself). I would rather they went to someone else who’d find them useful.

well I see in my situation I have spent over 250 gold and I have 100% map and half the karma I need, now I need to finish my karma, get 95 icy runestones (95 gold) and 100 charged lodestones, (180 gold) and the precursor (300 gold) :/. I have made every other gift and have 400 weaponsmith/armorsmith..I consider myself somewhat close to it and help would absolutely be appreciated. This weapon is the Sunrise and I don’t see it as end-game. I enjoy this game very much and I would continue on dungeoning and working on my alts, and of course this is the only legendary I will be making. Also if anyone was willing to help I would be glad to help pay them back when I have the funds to do so.

Screen- for those of you who don’t know these gifts are very expensive and a big gold sink I am very dedicated towards this weapon and like I said help would be appreciated

This idea isn’t bad, but would cheapen the value of legendaries to everyone who worked hard for theirs without getting help.

If we would get bunch of ppl into this, we would need to get really good RNG system so that ppl on list get same chance.
Plus, how to chose who eligible for entering lottery ?
so if anyone would have good idea , hell, even if mods would help us with topic in some ways , it may just work.
And most important i dont wish to make this be in any way begging for items/money, more like , “help me if you can and make me smile for a day”.

Why would anyone who got legendary dislike the idea of someone else getting it ? Also im sure that 99% of ppl who got leg so far, (legit) got help from other players. So why not give a chance to at least one person per month to have same luxury ?

You could do something along the lines of telling people to post on the forum with a screenshot of the items they have so far towards the legendary. Make a minumum requirement X amount of gifts or gold spent towards the legendary and proof to show it. Then count the number of posts, and how many are eligible and put them all into excel with numbers. Then use a RNG program to select a random number and boom.

and for a sidenote, just a personal standpoint, it would make me smile alot more than a day

I’m sorry Xyrm, but I don’t see how it is cheapening anything. how does getting help make the rest of the effort needed irrelevant? the effort and gold sink into these weapons is phenomenal, if someone wants to do it alone, good for them, but what is wrong with a little help and making someone’s day?

Tx for response, thing is, i wonna make this as as “by will” of community. I would not like to have any role in this other then helping when i can.
With that said If we make ppl who wonna apply post some story about them , how far they are now into making it, or so on , everyone who read topic could chose their “favorite” and help him out.
Still would be great to hear more ppl ideas how would it b possible to do something like this.
Ah and, its important that ppl who would be posting , do not see this as begging coz im sure there are tons of proud fair ppl who would rather help others then really ask for help, and those ppl are exactly ppl who deserve support.

that is sad. I was hoping more people would be interested, but it might have been the wrong time to bring it up with all the halloween stuff going on

Well ill ping this topic once again , maybe some ppl would like to look at it now.
