Guild Wars 2

Ever since I am playing GW2 I noticed the keyboard layout randomly changing from QWERTZ to QWERTY during gameplay. Only way to change it back seems to be to restart the game.
I already went to the system controls and deleted all keyboard layouts except QWERTZ one, but it didnt help.

I have encountered this very same issue on my installation (Win7) after I started to change the defaul keybindings in GW2. The main source of the problem is that we “accidentally” hit ALT + SHIFT, which will alter the keyboard region layout in Windows itself. In my Swiss case this resulted in a crazy rotation between german, french and english keyboard region settings and the prob even persisted after deleting the optional keyboard-layouts and restarting GW2…. :-o

The solution to our problem can however be found under Region and Language, Keyboards and Languages, Change Keyboards, Advanced Key Settings, Hot Keys input languages (Win7):

- Change Action “Between input langues” to Key sequence (None)

If you are not on Windows you might want to check if the OS has a hotkeybind to keyboard swap. Hope this helps! ^^

Thank you, that seems to work, at least it did not happen again so far. I will post again if incase it doesnt.
