Guild Wars 2

I’m not looking for an OP class, i just want too know what you guys find more fun end-game. I am looking forward too pvping quite a bit, but pve is valuable too me as well.

Are they both good?

i tried them both out, i think i’ll pick rogue since they seem too “Combo” rather then sit back and smash their face on the keyboard.

I play Ranger but thats only because i didnt knew that Thief is the only class with no cooldown on weapon skills …you can probably micro Thief alot and i love micro (so thief i guess can be more fun)

Jump into the mists and try them both out. They have similarities but feel quite different, although both are a lot of fun.

I found ranger to be weak in pvp and rather useless in dungeons. Thief is top-tier in pvp and difficult to play in dungeons.

I tried both, but not to high levels yet and only in PvE. Also I mainly solo, so survivability is a factor for me.

Thief is fun class but requires a lot of tactics and micro-management. I took a Thief to level 15 and found the profession to work best when other players are around. Your main tactics are to the work the fringes of battles, picking off mobs already weakened with your finishing kills. You cannot go toe-to-toe with bosses or get swarmed and expect to survive.

My Ranger is level 30, and is more survivable exploring solo. Longbow is a must and traps and your pet are your friends Rangers have a huge mix of weapons to choose from, so your secondary weapon slot will depend more on your play style preferences. Many like greatsword, some set-up a shortbow or axe/dagger for back-up ranged weapons, also sword/horn or sword/torch works for some.
